Highsmith Farm, LLC was founded in July 2020. Shane and Sarah Highsmith decided it was "high time" to plant their roots, and purchased a beautiful country side property to open their brand new business. Sarah has spent her last 31 years in the show horse industry, starting out at the tiny age of two years old in a riding program very similar to the one she operates today. Over the last 10 years she has instructed hundreds of riders and guided them to multiple wins and championships. Her training methods turn out horses who are mannerly and calm, yet enthusiastic to perform when they hit the show ring. She focuses on providing an atmosphere where horses and riders feel at home, a place where they can learn and thrive.
Sarah is a member of the United States Equestrian Federation, United Professional Horseman's Association, American Saddlebred Horse Association, and Vice President of the Indiana American Saddlebred Horse Association. Her husband, Shane owns and operates local gun shop, Highsmith Guns, in a nearby town and has had fantastic success establishing a respected reputation in the community.
